Lauren Beecroft

Lauren joined Barristers.comm in early 2009 as a Law Clerk , and commenced practice as a barrister in October 2009.

Prior to this, Lauren attended the University of Otago, completing her studies in Law and History in 2008, and commencing work as a clerk at major New Zealand Law Firm.

Lauren’s key area of practice is in civil litigation, with a major focus on employment law. She has experience in relationship property matters, injunctive relief in the Employment Court, partnership matters, and drafting pleadings and submissions across a wide range of Courts, including the Court of Appeal.

Lauren has represented clients as junior or sole counsel in various proceedings in the Employment Court, Employment Relations Authority, and High Court, in cases including:
