Lisa commenced practice as a barrister sole on 1 February 2010. Lisa was previously a Crown Counsel at the Crown Law Office for 13 years from January 1997 to January 2010. Her earlier legal experience included two years as a commercial solicitor at Caudwells, Dunedin (1991 to 1993) and three years as the Regional Solicitor for the Department of Conservation's West Coast Conservancy (December 1993 to December 1996). Recent Experience Represented the Crown and Crown entities in numerous judicial review proceedings, declaratory judgments, tort claims, contract claims, equity proceedings and statutory appeals. Appeared as counsel at all levels from the Privy Council and Supreme Court to the Land Valuation Tribunal. Negotiated settlements for a large number of proceedings.
